Google Analytics now tracks Audio Ads

We’re seeing a trend that I predicted early last year – Google Analytics is becoming the repository of campaigns run on radio (Google Analytics Integrates Audio Ad Tracking) and I bet it won’t be much longer till Ad-Scape and other 3D Virtual Gaming advertising shows up in Google Analytics along with Video Advertising campaign reporting.

This makes a lot of sense, actually, and none too soon – most of the major analytics platforms are moving in the direction of integration of multiple data sources and types – as sites are web experiences are made up, more and more, of hybrid experiences on the web (and off it too) – and the analytics packages need to keep up – raise the bar, so to speak.
